  The following was the assignment for Friday, May 9th.  Please see that your child

                          completes the assignment (the written as well as the reading portion).  This will be

                          the last weekend written assignment.  We are trying to complete all sections prior to

                          PACT.    

 

                    Complete “Standard 7-5 Wrap-Up Activity” page 239-246 and

                     “Standard 7-6 Wrap-Up Activity” page 295-302 in WB.

                     Read Ch. 21-5 “The End of Empire” page 843-852.

                     Complete handout “Ch. 21 Assessment.”

 

    Mon.   Bring a highlighter pen to class all week if possible.

                   Read in WB “The Technological Revolution” pg. 317-322 and                 

                      complete the handout matching “People & Terms” pg. 317.  

             Read in WB “An Environmental Crisis” pg. 325-329 and                           

                      complete the handout matching “People & Terms” pg. 325.

        Wed.    REVIEW FOR PACT

 

        Thurs. REVIEW FOR PACT

       

        Fri.    REVIEW FOR PACT USING HANDOUT GIVEN IN CLASS.

               You should also be going back over the tests in the test section

                     of your notebook.  This will refresh your memory of material

                     learned earlier in the year.

“Success Begins At Home”

 

     1.  Have a quiet place to study with materials readily available.

     2.  Study at the same time everyday.

     3.  Parents should check your child’s agenda, check his/her

           homework, and call out questions for a quiz or test.

     4.  Set a time for parents and child to read together everyday.

     5.  Go to bed early.

     6.  Eat a good breakfast.

     7.  Come to school with a positive attitude and be ready to learn.
