PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

We are currently working on a Christmas Shopping project. Students are to pretend that they just won a contest and were awarded $550 to spend on their favorite people. They must follow the directions below:

I. Choose at least 5 people to buy gifts.

II. Spend as close to $550 as possible without going over.

III. Create a gift booklet with a separate page for each person + cover page. Each page should include

· The person’s name AND why they were selected.

· A picture of each gift.

· The price for each gift, +tax (5%), and total for each gift.

· Tell where each gift will be purchased and why it was chosen.

· The total paid for each person altogether.

· Show work!!

IV. Fill out record sheet (given in class-to be turned in with project.

The project will be graded on completeness, accuracy, and neatness!

Final projects are due December 18^th!!!!
