Welcome to What a fantastic place to learn and
grow academically as well as socially. It is my desire for all students to
succeed, and we will work together to make this happen. First, I want to introduce myself. I
have been teaching since 1999, and have enjoyed every exciting moment! I
began teaching music in the elementary schools, but then discovered the love
and appreciation for students who need a little more help than a regular
classroom can provide. So, for the past four years, I have been teaching
Resource math and ELA. I am married to a wonderful husband and
have two beautiful children. Shelli is eight years old in the 3rd
grade and Stephen is five years old in kindergarten. Both of my children
attend Merrywood and love it! My family enjoys going to church, out to eat,
to the mountains, and the beach! However, almost everyday after school you
can find my children and me at the YMCA! This year, I will be instructing you in
the area of mathematics. We will explore many avenues of learning, and I will
be with you every step of the way! I realize students learn in different
ways. I want to give you plenty of opportunities to find your personal style
of learning in order to be successful.
